Surgical procedure
Within the early phases of colon most cancers, the surgeon can take away the most cancers from the bowel alongside a border of wholesome tissue; this is called an area resection.
Alternatively, the surgeon may take away all or a part of the colon that accommodates the tumours; this is called a colectomy.
